My doctor gave me the PSA test in my normal every 6 month visit blood tests, when I found out I had prostate cancer in my 50's. Now I'm a survivor, thanks to him.

There is actually a very simple operations, that when done as early as possible, can virtually eliminate the risk of prostate cancer in males when they get older. Once you're through having children it's really an option to consider, in other words no further need for procreation, but most males won't submit themselves to becoming eunuchs. It does I'm told work quite well and an older woman prefers their companionship. He's no longer hung up of EDS Dysfunction and taking dangerous drugs, which may actually bring on the onset of prostate problems. The operation takes less than half an hour to complete!

Many men don't like to go to the doctors. But, these blood tests are fast and easy. I urge all men to go to the doctors at least once a year for a rountine blood test, no matter what your age. The sooner you catch a problem the easier for treatment.

I had prostate cancer and didn't even know it. I just felt very tired and run down, not from the cancer, but because of high blood pressure, cholesterol and thyroid problems. Had not a very good friend made an appointment for me to see a doctor for those symtems, I still would not have known about the prostrate cancer, and would not have been treated for it. Today, I can say I'm cancer free, but I will still get checkups every 6 months. I was lucky. Don't play games with cancer. You'll lose every time.

Why go through the pain and suffering of dying from cancer when you don't need to. Life is too good to give up that easily. And what about the folks you'll be leaving behind? I'm sure there is someone who really loves you and will miss you. I respect your beliefs, but I believe in a higher power and I put my trust in Him. I'm 72 and will be turning 73 this May. I am not afraid to meet my Maker either, but I would not give up one day sooner then I need to. Please, for the people you care for, and for the people who care for you, get checked out. It's not as bad as you may have heard.
